From 12-16 Time to go to the body guy!
After we got the engine out it was time for the body guy (Tim) to come and pick her up. Here she is still on the jacks and all strapped together for ride.
Part's is parts....I just hope we can remember where these all go!! LOL
Here is the front seat...it was originally red and has two layers of covers on it. It's in really rough shape we hope we can salvage it. But, I bought a 67 front and rear seat to be safe. This one might be good for the frames but the seat springs are about half the side they were in 64. My guess is that this car was either in a flood at some point or had ALOT of moisture inside for a long time.
From 12-15.... the engine pull
And just like that out comes the 283 SB Chevy! The smallest small block engine made. It is backed with the standard 2 speed 'glide. It took longer for us to get these pic's on here than it did to get this guy out! LOL!!

Check out the oil filter on this engine.....yep that's it! The long black tube thing there! Wow they don't make 'em like that anymore... LOL
Pretty clean for a 64!!

A quick update
Hey all,
Been a while for a post. We have been busy working on the 64, in the midst, there was Christmas and New Years. The new year has started and the car is now at the blasters. We started blasting a couple days ago and have found some "ugliness". Particularly in the left rear quarter, which will probably need to be replaced.
We will post more with pics, hopefully on Jan 4th.
Stay tuned....
